The Establishment of the School of Politics and International Relations of Lanzhou University
The Standing Committee of the CPC Committee of Lanzhou University announced to establish the School of Politics and International Relations on June 8, 2018.
The School consists of five research centers, which are Institute for Central Asian Studies, Centre for Afghan Studies, Centre for Georgian Studies, Centre for Indian Studies, and Center for Italian Studies.
The total number of teaching and scientific research was set at 30 in 2018-2022. The faculty of international politics and international relations of the School of Management shall be reclassified to the School of Politics and International Relations, and more academic researchers and experts should be considered to employ.
School of Politics and International Relations should, in accordance with the requirements of the "Double First-Class" construction of Lanzhou University, clearly define the development objectives of the School, make a sound development plan on discipline construction, team building and personnel training, and actively promote the level of teaching and research in the future.
