In order to make full use of the favorable recruiting and retaining policies of Lanzhou University in recent years and further improve and strengthen the construction of personals of the school, Deputy Dean Zeng Xianghong went to various well known universities in Beijing, Shanghai, and Wuhan to investigate and give several presentations of recruiting and retaining policies of Lanzhou University.

Professor Zeng Xianghong went to School of International Studies of Renmin University of China, Department of International Relations of Tsinghua University, School of International Relations and Public Affairs of Fudan University, School of Politics and International Studies of Central China Normal University and School of Political Science and Public Administration of Wuhan University respectively in March and April, and had in-depth communication with the teachers and students of these schools.

Professor Zeng introduced the current situation of discipline construction, scientific research, talent training, requirements and positions of recruitment, and treatment of talents of the School of Politics and International Relations. He also expressed a warm welcome to excellent talents, especially the doctoral students to join in the School of Politics and International Relations of Lanzhou University.
