In order to help undergraduates better understand the Talent Training Programme and build a platform for quality education through this programme, our school held an admissions briefing activity on Talent Training Programme at 9:00 on 30 August. Professor Chen Xiaoding, Professor Li Jie, Associate Professor ChenYiyi, Associate Professor Li Yibin and Miss Wang Wanjun were invited to give a presentation on the admissions of the Programme to students, which was hosted by Mr.Lei Huanrui.

First of all, Professor Chen Xiaoding, Deputy Dean of the school, introduced the basic situation of our school's Talent Training Programme. Professor Chen Xiaoding encouraged eligible students to seriously consider and actively participate in the programme.

Ms. Wang Wanjun then introduced the implementation details, training programme and selection procedures of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Cultivation Programme.

Finally, Professor Li Jie, Associate Professor Li Yibin and Chen Yiyi introduced the basic information of the four areas under the first-level discipline of political science. Professor Li Jie firstly affirmed the innovative approach of the programme, and then talked in detail about the first-level discipline of political science and its related contents, and gave an in-depth explanation of political science theory and scientific socialism and international communist movements. Associate Professor Li Yibin outlined the microscopic differences and links between international politics and international relations, and gave a general overview of the characteristics of the international politics programme. Associate Professor Chen Yiyi focused on the differences between the scope and fields of study of international relations in China and abroad, and further explained the differences in the study of international relations. In the interactive Q&A session, the teachers answered the students' questions in detail and provided relevant extensions. The session was successfully concluded.
