Jointly sponsored by Institute of the World Religions of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Middle East Institute of Northwestern University, Center for Socialist Religious Theory and Practice of Chinese Characteristics of Shaanxi Province and the Xuanzang Research Institute of Northwest University, One Belt, One Road and Multi-Religious Communication Seminar was held on November 24th in Northwest University.
More than 80 experts and scholars including universities, research institutions and academic organizations such as Chinese Religious Society, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Shanghai International Studies University, Shaanxi Normal University, Inner Mongolia University for the Nationalities, Lanzhou University and Northwest University attended this seminar.
During the one-day seminar, delegates made in-depth discussions on issues such as the Belt and Road and religious exchanges, religious risks of countries along the Belt and Road, development trend of multi-religious religions in the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia, and history and current status of Chinese religious development, etc.
Professor Zeng was invited to attend the seminar and delivered a speech entitled Study on the Radical Mechanism of Foreign Warriors of the Islamic State: An Integrated Analysis Framework. During the communication session, Professor Zeng answered the questions raised by the delegates.
