School of Political and International Relations held a lecture entitled “The Prediction of the World Economy”at Tianshan Building A105 in the morning of December 22nd. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Bortenko Jelena Alexander Lovna, the Director of the International Finance Research Office of the Institute of International Economics and Prediction of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, and the Professor of the International Economics Department of the University of Tourism, Economics and Law of Kiev, Ukraine.

In this lecture, Dr. Jelena provided a profound interpretation of the new globalization, the crisis in globalization, and made an analysis and forecast of the future development of globalization. The lecture not only helped students to understand the globalization of the world today better, but also stimulate their academic curiosity and enthusiasm for academic research.
