On September 22, the seminar "Thirty Years of China-Kazakhstan Relations" organized by the Center for Kazakhstan Studies of Beijing Foreign Studies University was successfully held online.

Wang Dinghua, Secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Foreign Studies University, Sun Zhuangzhi, Director oftheInstitute of Russian, Eastern European and Central Asian Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shakhrat Nuryshev,Ambassador of Kazakhstan to China, and Zhang Xiao, Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan delivered speeches respectively.

At the symposium, Professor Wang Jinguo, dean of our school, made a speech on "The Impact ofPolitical Reforms Under President Tokayev’s ‘New Kazakhstan’ Program on China-Kazakhstan Relations". Scholars from Beijing Foreign Studies University, Development Research Center of the State Council, China Institute of International Studies, China Institute of Contemporary International Relations, Institute of Central Asian Studies of Xinjiang Academy of Social Sciences, Shaanxi Normal University and other institutions joined the meeting online and had a discussion on China-Kazakhstan relations.
